(1) Respective Faculty/Department
• Submit the nominations for the two external reviewers of the proposed study program to the respective Faculty Board to obtain approval from the University Senate and Council
• Submit the proposal to the external reviewers after obtaining the Senate approval with a letter signed by the Dean of the faculty
• Submit the proposal to the Faculty Curriculum Review and Development Committee (CRDC) or similar faculty level committee
(2) CRDC/Similar Faculty Level Committee
• Propose amendments, if required
•Submit the proposal to the respective Faculty Board
(3) Respective Faculty Board
• Submit the proposal to the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the University
(4) CQA
• Propose amendments, if required (send back and forth until all the sections of the proposal are complied with the SLQF and other related UGC requirements)
• Submit the proposal to the Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) of the University with observations
• Send the compliance reports to the relevant faculties of study
(5) CRC
•Propose amendments, if required
•Recommend for the approval of the University Senate
(6) University Senate
• Forward the decision to the University Council for approval
(7) University Council
• Communicate the Senate recommendation and Council decision to the Dean of the respective Faculty
(8) Respective Faculty/ Department
• Submit the final version of the proposal to the Quality Assurance Council (QAC) of the UGC with all required signatures (Director/CQA, Dean/respective Faculty and the VC of the University)
