Representatives of the British Council and the University of West Scotland, UK visited the University, in the morning hours of 12.02.2020 and had discussions with the Director/ CQA, Coordinators of Faculty QA Cells and the Student Representatives of each Faculty. Their main aim was to understand the current context of Student Engagement in QA in USJ and discuss the methods that can be adopted to strengthen this process further in Sri Lankan Universities. This was followed by a Discussion Forum held on the 14.02.2020 at the Movenpick Hotel, Colombo 03, as to the Introducing Student Engagement in QA at Universities. Dr. Rajitha Guneratne, Coordinator, Technology Faculty QA Cell participated in this discussion forum representing the Director, CQA of USJ.
